ValueOptions New Mexico Prevention Outreach and Education oversees evidence based prevention programs in New Mexico. In April 2005, ValueOptions New Mexico (VONM) was selected as the Statewide Entity for the New Mexico Interagency Behavioral Health Purchasing Collaborative. VONM is a New Mexico-based organization that serves New Mexican behavioral health consumers, families and providers. VONM Prevention Outreach and Education has Service Centers and Regional Offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

VONM Prevention Outreach and Education is responsible for maintaining the New Mexico prevention network and managing the service delivery system. VONM works to ensure a seamless system of care that encompasses consumer and community stakeholder input at all levels of service delivery.

In partnership with the New Mexico Interagency Behavioral Health Purchasing Collaborative and the Office of Substance Abuse Prevention, VONM Prevention Outreach and Education is committed to a behavioral health prevention service delivery system that is both effective and efficient, while focused on the principles of Prevention.

Together, VONM Prevention Outreach and Education, the New Mexico Interagency Behavioral Health Purchasing Collaborative, and the Office of Substance Abuse Prevention are committed to the psychological, emotional and spiritual health of New Mexican individuals, families and communities.
